[ it's not every day she's the hunted. well, scratch that, she is constantly being hunted. only thing is her predators are arrogant prey, the lower class looking to take their shot at the king. truth is, the game was rigged from the start.

but tonight her hunter is quite competent. makima isn't used to running, but the adrenaline is invigorating. she's actually having some fun with this little chase of theirs. it's going to come to an end, as all things do, when she gets tired of it. for now she's enjoying herself. she hopes her hunter is too.

ah, speaking of: looks like she's jumped down to cut her off at the end of the alley. makima skids to a stop, breathing heavily, as she faces down the nun three meters down. freedom so close yet so far. she doesn't like being the cornered one, but she's willing to play the part for now. ]
